Communication and Creativity

My journey into social media began long before it became my career. I have a deep fascination for language and communication, and initially, I actually pursued a path to become a speech therapist. Along the way, I also spent over a decade learning French, experiencing both the joys and the challenges that come with learning a new language. These experiences taught me the importance of communication, a skill that has proven invaluable in the world of social media.

Entrepreneurial Spark

At 20, I started my first business crafting handmade headbands and scrunchies in my parents’ sewing room. This business, The Messy Brunette, is where my love for selling on social media started. I experienced first hand how well i was able to communicate to audiences of different backgrounds, a skill I gained during my college years.

Discovering My True Passion

During my senior year of college, I had a revelation: I wanted to channel my communication skills and entrepreneurial spirit into becoming a Social Media Manager. This decision led me to where I am today, offering Instagram Management, coaching, and support to ambitious female entrepreneurs.

Why 5 to 9 Socials?

The name 5 to 9 Socials was created to reflect me balancing a traditional 9 to 5 job while passionately building my business from 5 to 9 in the evening. This name reflects the dedication and hustle that many entrepreneurs, like many of you, understand all too well.
